Isn't that the sweetest phrase to read first thing in the morning after ordering a bass?
Nothing truly exciting, an Ibanez ABG, but after a few months of deliberating, searching CL and eBay; trying out a bunch and asking opinions, it's nice to put it to rest.
It was down to either the Ibanez or the Michael Kelly Visionary (love the idea of the neck adjustment).
Final decision was based on the fact that this will be a beater, outside use, travel, etc. so a laminate with a thick finish seemed best for standing to less than ideal situations. I went with the AEB5E for the 32" scale, I figure it would be a halfway house for my kids when they move up from the Mikro.
Props to AMS, I ordered it yesterday around 2 PM and it's on the local UPS truck as of 6 AM today.
