Hi YZZ, whats a mono? What type of bass is it and what controls, pickups does it have? Have you checked to see if you need a new battery (if it's active)
I've just experienced a similar problem with my pickups and it turned out to be bad wiring on the controls.
Send more info so people can help.
Cheers Steve.

hello steve. oh im sorry. mono: i mean were you plugg it in. the bass is a rather unknown eagle bass with active 3 band EQ, bass, middle, treble and volume. the pickup is a MM 5.3 i think (same as stingray). i have replaced the battery and it was no difference.
