Overdrive/Distortion/Muff/Fuzz

I've said it 100 times. What may work for some may not work for others. I was just giving my opinion on it based on personal experience. Also to be honest I don't think that demo sounds good either. :)

What type of speakers were you using to listen to Tony Levin's clip? o_O..Either way, I am sure that neither Tony nor I are greatly bothered by your dislike of the EHX Deluxe Muff.

Carry on,

Marc

The speakers were good enough and I never implied that either of you should be. Just as I could give two three or even four sh*ts if you shared my opinion on the pedal.

Your entitled to you're opinion. For what it's worth I feel the same way about DG pedals.. I'm content to share opinions with Tony Levin (EHX) and JohnK (DG)..

Marc

As you should be. Just as most should be content with their own opinions and those of people they respect.

You are obviously an enlightened, highly developed life-form. I bow to your keen intellect! Carry on...:)

I think the Darkglass VMT is the way to go. Sounds a bit more natural to me then the B3K. EHX Bass Soul Food didn't do much for me, too little gain on tap and just sounded kind of "dry". Keep the blend around 11 oclock on the VMT and you'll have an excellent OD while still preserving your bass tone. IMO, IME, etc...
