Overdrive issue on GK amp??

Hallo,

I own a GK MB 115-II amp. I was looking the other day at a video:


There he shows a specific setting where he turns the gain at maximum and master at a low volume and the amp puts out a kind of distortion. I know this amp is different than mine, but I tried to create the effect and wasn't able to..

Am I missing something, is it because my amp is different, or did I buy a fake one ??

No reason you should not be able to, unless you are using the pad -10db input. Make sure the limiter is off as well. Only use the -10 input if you can't get a clean signal from a hot passive or active bass.

Well I am not using either. Yet the sound comes out almost as clear as having normal settings.
