For sale is a modern Pöllmann double bass built in 2006.
This is a Busetto model equipped with a chromatic C extension and is in excellent condition. There are no cracks on the instrument, and I have owned it since 2019.
The bass projects evenly across all registers and is very easy to play. It has narrow shoulders, which makes access to the upper register highly manageable.
In the lower and middle registers, the bass is dark, powerful, and clear. The notes speak quickly, and with full bodied tone. The upper register has a brighter, cutting quality making this bass extremely versatile.
The bass is located in NYC, but reasonable travel arrangements can be made for a serious buyer.
