P-Bass body build template suggestions

Greetings!

My father is an accomplished woodworker but he's never built a guitar body before. I'm sure he could figure it out, but I need to help him with dimensions, templates, etc...

He lives in a retirement community with all the woodworking tools (and some incredible wood!) and wants to build me a precision bass body.

I'd sure appreciate any resources you could recommend.

If you do a search here you'll find that the official PDFs for Fender's P bass have been posted in the past. They used to be available at the service area of the Fender website but they removed public access to them.

There is plenty of P basses body templates for sale in North America, but I don't know what you can get in Hong Kong or reasonably have shipped there.

Depending on how perfectly faithful to the Fender profile you expect your P bass body to turn out you might want to cross-examine pre-made templates for accuracy as best as you can.

If it were me, with the way tend to do things, I'd probably end up making my own perfected templates.
