Saw this p-bass, wondering if it is real or not, seems a bit fishy. Any help is appreciated. Pbass (2).JPG Pbass.JPG Pbass3.JPG

  3. Yer man is correct. The Highway Ones had Mexican style tuners, baddass bridge and a nitro paint job but the truss rod was at the body end the same as the US necks.

What makes you think it`s fishy?

I just wasn't aware of an american bass with the baddass bridge and Mexican tuners. Thanks for your help!

Body's not right. Or the pickguard. The shapes don't match or look right down by the jack...

  9. Maybe a cool bass but the misalignment of the strings to the neck would turn me off. Looks like more than the standard 'loosen neck and give it a shove' would fix. I think the bridge tailpieces were cut incorrectly or the bridge is mounted wonky. Pass.

That looks easily fixed by loosening the neck.

Possesses that "used and abused" look which is often the hallmark of a player.
The photo makes me want to try it. Is it available for you to test drive?

  12. Cut additional grooves in the saddles. Problem solved?
