P-bass strung w/ RWs?

Do you string any of your P-basses with rounds or are they all flats? Just curious...

I use rounds, most of the time. A lot of people like rounds on a P.

Both...I have three w/ rounds and two w/ flats. They are perfect basses in any flavor!

On my new modded Squier VM 70's P I have D'Addario EXL-220 nickel plated steel rounds. But that's what I have on both of my Jazz basses as well. That's the only type of string that I use and have for about 10 years. I used to use Fender Flats and I liked the tone and the feel but way too much tension for me. Rounds now feel the best for me and in particular I like the feel/tension, tone, and longevity of the D'Addario EXL's. They're not too expensive, either. )-(

I have one P and it's mostly strung with rounds. I keep a set of flats around and restring the bass when needed, but I usually record rock or mainstream pop stuff, so they require a fairly brighter sound from me.
I'm happy when I do get to put the flats on cause I love the way they make me play and sound, but it's not as often as I like.
Though rounds are great.
Justin is right on the money - you cant go wrong on a P-bass whichever string you use!
