p bass with dimarzio model p pickups and cap change.

so i put dimarzio model p pickups in my p bass. ive had them in there for a couple months and im not really digging them. the mids are TOO much, basically overpowering the highs and lows. so i go up to radio shack and get a .1uf cap to replace my .047uf stock cap. holy sh!t this is the TONE! it helps smooth out the mids. before when i would roll back the tone knob it would sound choked up(stock cap) now its a smooth roll off. i couldnt be any happier. i hope this helps somebody out.
