P Bass with Flats I know sorry

I’ve always wanted a P bass, I used to have Flats on a Jazz but liked rounds better, and got rounds on my SR505 Ibby............sooooooooooooo I really want a P with flats now cuz I miss how they feel. Question, what classic rock bands played flats on a P? Curious if you guys know what John Entwhistle from The Who played, If he played flats, what other classic rock bands?

What flats do I want so they don’t sound super muddy on a P? Of course not having a P, I know I sound like a dip stick lol.

If you looking well in mix flat, recommend a try on strong mid voice EB Cobalt Flat, following Fender 9050, Dunlop flat, EB Group flat.
Above flatwound set i recommend because all of them has clear E string fresh from pack and she stay the clean tone longer than Labella , GHS , Dogal, DR legend i been use.

Fender 9050L's are very clear, with a tad of top end and a modicum of growl
Ernie Ball stainless flats are similar to Fenders, but with only the slightest bit of growl
La Bella are neutral and consistent with clarity, but no growl.
