P pickup position on a 34.5" scale bass

Where is the "correct" P position?

For the standard 34" scale, I would know where to put it, but not on a 34.5".

You're increasing the scale length by 1/68. So just multiply whatever your measurement is by 1 1/68, which is 1.014705882.

So if a pickup is 6" away from the bridge on a 34" scale bass, the equivalent location on a 34.5" scale bass would be 6.088235294". I'd round that to 6.09" or 6.1"

I don't have a standard P, so I can't help with you a specific measurement, sorry.
