P5 build build for my friend

It occurs to me that I have not updated this thread for a bit, even though a lot of work has been done on this Bass.

It’s cool, because my friend Mike (that I’m building this bass for ) has been wanting to learn to build basses, so I’ve been showing him pretty much each step of the way, and letting him do a fair amount of the work. It makes it much easier on me physically, it teaches him, which is something I really like to do, and he is definitely enjoying the process!

So that said, I’m just gonna post a ton of pictures here on the progress and they should pretty much tell the story.

Got some blue luminlay for the side dot markers.i haven’t used this material before, im anxious to see the results. Looks cool … I wonder how long a good “charge” lasts ?

Hoping today I will feel good enough to get into the shop for a bit. So much to do….
