PA Cab help

Hi folks. Raw newbie here. Can you either advise me, or direct me to an existing discussion, on using a PA cab with a G-K 800RB head?

I have a chance to grab a Peavey PA cab, but I don't know if it would work with the G-K or with anything else for that matter.

Which model PA cabinet? The GK will power just about any decent cabinet. How well the cabinet sounds with bass is another matter. Some PA cabinets will handle bass and some won't. Also where are you going to be using it? If just at home at low volume you might get by with something smaller. But if you intend to play in a band you'll need something better.

Peavey makes all sorts of PA cabinets, from small ones designed for vocals only up to large multi speaker cabinets that will handle vocals and amplified instruments.
