I have read that the XR18 software mixer is complicated and non intuitive. Is that true?

We had an issue with ours where the aux sends somehow were getting fed into the main mix.
We lost a half hour of rehearsal time trying to figure that out.

I think anyone who's familiar with regular mixers will not have too much trouble with it, as long as they're willing to read the manual.
I bought a digital mixer/recorder like ten years ago and the xr18 is much easier than that one (aw4416)

Are there any analog mixers that can be tweaked from the audience side without using iPad? dunno, example.....via a MIDI controller with a very long cable hooked to the mixer?

Maybe Im making something up that doesnt exist.

Most digital mixers have an iPad app that allows you to do some tweaking. I just don't like having an iPad as the primary mixing surface.

XR18 works with Android and PC also. You can get a decent Android tablet cheap these days.

Just picked up a JBL PRX735 last week for the rehearsal space and it's probably the best sounding speaker I've ever heard. Maybe it's the 3way design but there's a seamless spread between the woofer and the tweeter. I'm hearing stuff on songs I know cold that I've never noticed before. Already saving up for the second
