These oil varnished versions had a very high list price 10 years ago. I've never seen one come up for sale used.

No. The effective new retail discount prices would have been in the $12-15,000 range. Figure a used instrument might sell for $70-80% of that in a shop. Staying on the high side of things as a hopeful selling price might prove disappointing. There is more of a market for older instruments in those price ranges. Good luck!
