Does anyone know why the page starts at the top every time I hit my back button, instead of the point I had scrolled down to?
It is very annoying!! and happens in every forum

Thanks for any advice you may have

Well I notice when a page is loading that this is the very last thing that loads, so have you made sure that the page finishes loading first? I'm assuming you have, in which case that is quite odd. Which browser are you using?

I had not noticed any change. If I click on the topic title, I go to the last post I read in that thread.

But I haven't been in as often (only 2-3 times per week) so maybe you are onto something. What browser are you using?

Had same thing happen awhile back>>

go to tools---top right toolbar

open, select----compatibillity settings

type in ---talk bass.com

hope this works for ya!

bad scripting on their end I would imagine...but I'm ignorant to the building of web pages...I notice it alot on Facebook, but it doesn't always happen...very odd. But it certainly is frustrating.

That's because Facebook loads a certain length of news on a given page, and only displays older news when you scroll down. When you go back to a previous page, it takes you down to the end of the "fresh" list of news.

They do this because loading a gazillion news for every user on every page would take Chuck Norris amounts of bandwidth.
