Pearce B2P amps x2 - worth fixing?

I have 2 Pearce B2P bass amps, both not working currently. I started having problems with the first one cutting out which I think was a heat related safety feature when the cooling fan stopped working properly. It had had repairs done on it in the past by a technician - some of it's push button switches were replaced by dip switches, the pots were cleaned and dry solder joints re-soldered.

The other amp would crackle at times with the vibrations of the speaker enclosure (I assume also due to dry solder joints) so I robbed the cooling fan from that one to put in the first one, but it didn't work so I gave up and bought a Genz Benz

What sort of money would they go for these days in working condition? Should I advertise them and sell them as-is, or pay for the repairs and sell them in working condition?

A seasoned, qualified, experienced tech shouldn't have any difficulty repairing these. Cost would depend on what's actually wrong and the availability of parts.

I think you'd do better selling them in working order, assuming the repair can be done at a reasonable cost. These amps were the shizzle back in the day, but who knows what they will fetch now.

Value? Looks like there was a G2R (guitar version) that sold on eBay for $369, but that's just a single data point. There was a combo version that sold for ~$500 too.

It is an interesting story, it really highlights how difficult it is to operate a commercial amplifier company even if you are experienced. It's even more difficult now, with all the new safety, EMC and environmental regulations that have to be tested for (and costs stupid money).
