Peavey 6505+ and a Ampeg PF 115

Just bought An Peavey 6505+(USA)

And i was wondering is it completly a stupid idea for me to try it with a Jazz bass through a Ampeg cab.

The cab says 400w rms and the amp is 120w.so it should be fine.

This is just a experiment i am planning on doing.

Would Love to hear everyones opinons on this.

Ps i know it probably wont sound that good.

It won't be overly loud but it should be fun to push the drive into distortion. You might find the EQ action less accommodating of bass but there's a few of them on TB pulling bass duty so must do something worthwhile.

Mind the impedance matching if you plan on giving it hell.
