Hi there, please help me. I would to buy a wonderfull 1979 peavey 115 bass cabinet with a black widow 1505 dt 4
I can't understand the real wattage of that speaker. The actual owner even doesen't know.
I would match it with a peavey firebass 700 bass head
    Thsnks a lot

    Welcome to TB!
The "4" at the end of the part number indicates it is a 4 ohms load.
350 watts continuous. <-- Use this for matching with your amplifier.
    700 watts program
    600 watts AES

The Firebass 700 is rated as 275 watts at 8 ohms, 475 watts at 4 ohms, and 700 watts at 2 ohms. You can use the 115 you mentioned if you are careful not to try and dump a lot of power into it.

350 watts RMS, so be very careful with your amp.

Most likely a different part number in the combo.

Many combos used Scorpion drivers, Black Widow badges were often added by owners and used gear dealers.
