Details

Hey there, I got this from a fellow TB'er. I thought I was ambitious enough to build this, but lost interest.

It doesn't need to be a BQuad. It can be any kind of bass you like. I checked and my Foundation neck fits in the pocket and the two left (if you're looking at it head on headstock facing up) screws line up, but you'll need to drill the other two. That makes it easy since you can attach the neck with the two screws first, then drill. You could even use Foundation VFL's and make a passive bass with pups in the Bquad position, so you'd get that tone.

Body has a big chip out of the upper horn. No rear covers. Just as you see. Also, it looks blue or lighter blue depending on the light in the photos. Reality is more like the darker blue as opposed to the aqua. As you can see, it's a player's bass. Lots of imperfections, but it has some good flame and if anything Peavey always used good quality wood.

$120 shipped in lower 48. Otherwise, shipping is more and will be actual shipping.

The other way. Closer to, and possibly off the end of the bass. Quick&dirty, lay your foundation neck in the pocket, measure 17" from the 12th fret. Where does that end up?

What do you mean "the start of the 12th fret"? The 12th fret is a fret. It's a piece of wire, roughly 1mm wide

I just measured on the white BQ4 body I have here. With a foundation neck on the pocket, the saddles would essentially be RIGHT at the edge of the body. Won't work. Not even close

The 11th and 12th fret don't meet anywhere. They are separated by almost an inch.
