Peavey Cab ohm ID

There's a Peavey 115 BW on casters for sale near me ($180). Can't ID the ohms & need help. Posting front & back pics. Seller seems honest, doesn't have a ton of info & hasn't played it. Serial lookup is 1988 build. Would this be a reasonable purchase? Thank you.

When measuring the DC resistance, you need to do it in a quiet room, the speaker will pick up vibrations and give a difficult to read value.
Oh, Lawd, reminds me of a story about a young protege at the PA co. several yeas back....

I get a phone call while I'm out of town. Young Mr Expert is "checking the PA", which sent up flags right away in and of itself. "And there's some really screwed up speakers here. The "ohms reading" is all over the place.

After a few questions, it became obvious that he had rolled the speaker carts on the dock because "it was a beautiful spring day".

And didn't think or even know about the 10-15mph wind breeze and gusts that would blow across the dock like a wind tunnel....:banghead: :banghead:

"Put DOWN the meter and step AWAY from the speakers!".....:roflmao: :roflmao:

All advice re ohms is on point. As for is it a good deal? Depends. It is probably a black widow 15 judging from the aluminum dust cap.

my wife adopted a free one as her cab under my v-4b head. I came to like the way it sounded (mid focused, low roll off) but it is super heavy. And not TB, 35# heavy. But proper swear inducing weight.

Measure it, play through it and definitely pick it up off the ground if you have any intention of gigging it!

$50, maybe. Because I sold my old Peavey 2-15 for $100, and I would have gone lower just to see it gone. And I made the buyer carry it up the stairs, while I offered encouragement, along with thoughts and prayers.

Like the legend of the sword in the stone. He who can carry this cab up the stairs…is cursed to carry it up stairs for all eternity. Or something like that.
