Peavey Foundation 5 string bass wiring diagram/schematic

Does anyone have one of these?
I purchased the neck and body from a friend without the electronics.
The pickups are coming in soon from ebay (3 wire - red, black and ground).
I already have pots and a jack for it.
No I haven't gotten ahold of Peavey yet because I assumed (yeah, i know) the friendly folks here would respond faster...

Trying to figure out why the black lead from the bridge pickup is hot but ground on the neck pickup and the red wire from the bridge pickup is ground and hot on the neck pickup....

Maybe something to do with hum cancelling. When both Vol are even both pickups act as a really big humbucker

If anyone knows, are the pots long or short shaft? Thank you -
