I do not see what you are seeing. In both the Left and Right hand versions of the diagram, I see the cap being soldered between the center and most clockwise contacts of the pot. They both look the same to me.

the treble bleed caps are .001 uF not .02 uF.

Don't bother with the left had diagram. You're just confusing yourself.

The "left" diagram is just a reversed version of the "right" diagram. Simple as that. Take care.

Hmmm.

I've got all of these 1950's paper in oil caps laying around and I see that my 1985 Foundation does have a treble bleed cap on each volume pot?

Hmmm......

I installed Fender .02s onto my Foundation's vol pots for the treble bleeds, but those sound like fun caps to experiment with ……
