Local ad asking $225 , seems fair but I had no clue what neck feel would be like. I might go get it, I only have one other maple neck P and it sounds really cool (considering I'm not big on P basses). Interesting.

I generally see nice ones under $200. But if you like a jazz neck on a P bass then I like these a lot. I didn't think the original pickups were bad, but they were unsheilded. So I put Bill Lawrence PUPs in mine and it came alive. Definitely cuts thru the mix and I play it and an SR5 out most often. Best part is I have very little invested. So it goes to outdoor gigs and or questionable locations.I've decided to pass on this one. I buy and sell used at prices where I'd break even just to try things out for fun, and usually catch great deals. My feeling this is just a decent average bass and price.
