Peavey G-V into a Radial J48 di

So this bass of mine puts out a really hot 18-volt signal. I usually have the mid on the on-board cranked. Will my di be able to handle it without choking, compared to say the JDV?

Any help is appreciated.

I've used it with the Radial passive succesfully.

Does your board have a "trim" function.

You might be better off with the JDI for a high output active bass. It can take a much hotter signal than the J48 can.

The J48 doesn't have a lot of headroom so you might need to use the input pad to not overdrive it with that bass. The circuit power supply in the J48 is supposed to be regulated to 9V but it actually sags quite a bit below that unless you have a very robust phantom power supply. With my little mixer the rail in the J48 sits at about 3V.
