I am looking into buying a Peavey Mark III Combo from a friend. Does anyone here own one? If so, what is a fair price for this model, it is very old(late 70's i believe)? Comments/Suggestions.

I bet all of us old enough have used this amp before. I consider it a good enough amp to get the job done. I think you should be able to get this for a low price but I haven't seen one for a long time so I don't know what they go for now.
I would suggest browsing EVILBAY for a little while to see what they're going for.

I have a mark 3 head, i like it but not enough power for me, 150w, i like its sound though, ill still keep it when i get my new amp though, eventually, ill probably still stick with peavey, or at least a peavey power amp, but i only paid $350aus for mine
I have a mark lll bass head and a peavey 15" black widow cab for sale. both are in excellent condition. asking $375. I live in louisiana.
