Peavey Max 250

Hey all,
I have an opportunity to purchase a brand new in the box Peavey Max 250 bass combo amp at a price I can afford. Is there any one with experience with this combo. I know that Fender gets a lot of love but right now it is out of my price range. I don't want to go used. So what say you? Is the Max 250 a decent combo for a new Steinberger Spirit with Labella Stainless Steel Flats. Are there any electronic issues with it and does it really push 250 watts. I want a 115 combo that will push at least 200 watts. I will appreciate your input.

Doesn't anybody have experience with this amp? I know it is relatively new but there must be someone out there who has one.

Good feature set. Good price. Good looking. Decent power. I guess it depends on your needs. It looks like a pretty capable amp to me.

I say you should try it out, and if it sounds good to you, buy it.
