The Peavey Palladium was Jeff Berlin's signature bass. Designed to have the qualities Jeff prefers in a bass, the electronics include humbucker PU's, volume, blend and passive tone controls. The neck PU is placed close to the neck so tones similar to a P bass are possible. The bridge PU sounds very much like a jazz bass bridge PU without the hum. Really great passive electronics IMO.
The alder body is light weight and adds to the great tone of the Palladium. The bridge is a Bad Ass II. The very thin graphite reinforced maple neck has an ebony fingerboard. The ergonomics of this model are very fine indeed and it is a joy to play.
This one comes in the original hard case and weighs 8 pounds, 10 ounces. The gold hardware is in decent shape but does show some wear. The neck and body are in quite good condition. There are a few dents here and there and they are mostly very small. There is one chip on the rear bottom edge of the body where finish is missing and I have included a photo of that.
My asking price is what I have in the bass. The only reason this unique bass is up for sale is that my collection of basses is too large and I almost always play 5 or 6 string basses and presently own 4 Peavey 4 string basses. I am not looking for trades as my collection must be reduced.
Paypal is okay. Actual shipping cost will be paid by buyer.
