Peavey T-40s Great or so-so?

They are really heavy but indestructible. I wouldn't say they are fantastic by any stretch, but they are a lot of bass for the $$$.

If you are looking for a bass that can do a RIC sound as well as a P bass, this is the way to go if your back can handle it.

They are MIA, the first bass made by CNC machines and will likely appreciate in value as they are dirt cheap currently (they sell in the $250-350 range now with OHSC and in good shape).

Mine is almost 13lbs and I rarely play it due to the weight but it records great also.

Best vintage bass available for under a few hundred bucks, I guess!
