Hey fellow Peavey fans !
Here is a vintage Peavey Unity bass PROTOTYPE put together and tested by the late, great Mike Powers, the man behind the curtain at Peavey. He helped design the T-40 and many others, so I'm told.
I got this bass from Derrick Cook when he was moving from MS to where he is now and he needed some extra moving money. He told me the history of it and it's just been sitting in his collection for years unplayed.
It has a cool feel. Like a Spector, the rear of the body is curved a little instead of just a straight body with a contour on the edge.
There are no dings or dents, but the rear pickup seems to be dead, only because the wiring looks complete. It is all passive. I was going to put in some Geezers, but I didn't want to molest it from stock, to use an outdated word.
It is all stock, minut the strap locks. I'll add the original strap buttons, too, but since most Peavey players who own a Cirrus use the strap locks, I figured it's always easier to stay Dunlop.
Original hard shell Peavey case and case candy included like warranty card.
