For sale/trade is my Peavey VB-3 300W all tube bass amp. Amp is in excellent shape and sounds as good as it looks!
This head does have an output transformer and uses a switched mode power supply instead of a power transformer and rectifiers and comes in at 37lb, which is REALLY light for a 300W Tube amp ( Ampeg SVT is around 90lbs ). It has eight EL34 power tubes but can be tubed and biased with 6L6's with a slight decrease in output power. Tubes are brand new thetubestore.com's PREFERRED SERIES EL34. I have removed the “ Bear Claw “ style tube retainers and installed all new “ Spring Loaded “ style retainers.
