Peavey VTB 300 Tube Head

That amp puts out 200 Watts RMS into 2 ohms, 150 into 4 ohms, and 100 into 8 ohms. Unlike other tube amps that have multiple taps on the output transformer, this amp only has 1 single tap, and the power is max when running into 2 ohms. The jacks are in parallel.

I've got one and it's ripped apart on my bench right now so I can rebuild it with a different preamp section.

I believe this is correct. I couldn't find my VTB schemo, but I did find the VTA400, which is similar, and that's how it's done.

Hartley Peavey designed that one himself. We have schematics. Contact customer service.
