Peavy T40 from 1981 help

A good sonic cleaner with hot water and some penetrating oil will likely knock that out for you. Just take the saddles off the bridge, drop them in and turn it on for about 5-10 minutes. Regardless of how you get them out, a TINY drop of anti-seize on the adjustment screws will keep that from happening again. Don't get crazy with the anti-seize. That stuff is like herpes. It gets everywhere.

Soak it in whatever and then I would try to get a needle nose plier in there - all it needs is a little Wilbury twist to get it to start to move and you can do the rest by hand. Maybe take it to Lowes and see if the curvy needle nose would get in there to just get it unfrozen. Hang in there, you'll get it!
If all else fails, there's this:

What size is the hex for the truss rod?
You want a 5/16th.

Some Gibson tools will fit, some won't 🫤

Issue is how far in the TR nut is, some are pretty deep. If you use a short key then the lever arm is jammed tight against the wood at the nut, keeping pressure while turning can cause the wood covering the access hole to split.

When you get a key, take the nut off. Grease the threads on the TR and slip 2 or 3 washers in before putting the TR nut back on. It pushes the nut out for better purchase and gives you a tiny bit more adjustment.
