pedal picking up radio???

Just curious if the following ever happened to anyone:

first of all, equipment path was thus:

passive bass>octave>mammoth>delay>eden wtx-500 amp>orange cab.

Once the volume on the bass is turned to zero, the wooly mammoth begins to receive an AM radio signal, which i can then modulate with the delay pedal.

truly bizarre, and wished i had my moogerfoogers with me that night.

I get interference from a local station as I live too close to the transmission tower. Worst part is it's the pop station so whenever I stop playing I hear Katy Perry and Lady Gaga. Very demotivating.

I can only imagine what the signal is doing to my physical health. The pathetic music is eroding my mental well being as it is...
