Pedal to bring out my slap & pop?

Help!!! Which pedal would be better to bring out my slap & pop. BOSS LMB-3 Bass Limiter Enhancer Or BOSS GEB-7 Bass Equalizer. Any other pedal suggestions also. I set up my eq on my bass head to be beefy and a little low endy. But not a full on reggae tone. So when I slap (which is only 15% of a gig) it doesn't cut threw. So i need a pedal that can add what I need to cut threw. My slap technique is fine so I know its not that. Thanks please help

Either of the two you mentioned will do the job, as will the Steel Leather or the older Boss EH-2, which is now discontinued. The two you mentioned will have the enhance/eq boost on all the time when they're on, whereas the steel leather and EH-2 have sensitivity controls so you can it set it so only your harder hit notes get the eq boost.

Bear in mind that no pedal will replace good technique and a quality, well setup bass.

That said,...I like my LMB-3 for slap since it helps to squash any peaks should I get a little too aggressive.

Using both in conjunction (if that is what line6bassist means) or any combination of compressor and EQ would be even better.

I do not play too much slap, but I have an EBS MultiComp and then a Sansamp BDDI at the front of my signal chain and between the too of those you can get some big slap tones. The EBS is a great transparent compressor and you can boost the gain, and if it is not scooped or overdriven enough for you, you can always kick on the BDDI for a really aggressive slap tone that is still not harsh.

i use my LM-2B (Boss Bass limiter) with the level and threshold at 12'0 clock. I also use my GEB-7 (Boss Bass EQ) with a mild mid-scoop and my Geddy Lee can slap for days with this. Getting a CS-3 tomm (Boss Compressor-Sustainer) so I can further expand the capabilties.

You could always just cut the mids on your amp a bit and/or boost the highs and lows to your liking. There really isn't an instant slap sound effect pedal unless you want to use a modeler which doesn't sound as good as the real deal.
