Pedalboard mounting tips

I just bought one of those nano-sized Mooer pedals, but must confess to being a little puzzled. I use velcro to stick my pedals to my board, but the Mooer pedal has some sort of slick rubber on the bottom, and the velcro simply will not stick to it. I made a DIY solution with a couple of zip-ties, which works perfectly well, but does restrict the pedal to that particular position on the board, and I’m not wild about how it looks, either.

Has anyone encountered this problem, and is there an easy solution?

I took that rubber pad off, and threw it in the box.... then applied velcro to the bottom of the pedal.

That was exactly what I did - only to discover that the heads of the screws on the underside of the pedal are too tall, so the hooks don’t make contact with the loops in the velcro. I could replace the screws, but then I would void the warranty.

I once heard "a guy" say that he knew someone who replaced the screws with flatter heads... then when and "IF" it needed service, they were going to put the original screws back in. This "guy" said that he didn't think that any of the pedal companies had trackers on screws/screw holes.... YMMV.

Screw those screws...

Cut it the same size as the pedal and just vecro right over em after taking the rubber off. My Mooer reEcho stays where I put it!
