A compressor, a octave, fuzz, and distortion. Is there any pedals that arnt those that you really like
Too many to list, you may want to try a search, I've spoken about pedals quite a few times in the past.
Comp: no preference, I don't use them.
Octave: Aguilar pedal - the new one. SO sick.
Fuzz: Chunk Brown Dog, B:assmaster or Wooly Mammoth
Dist: Sans VTBass or GT2.

Octamizer looks sweet. On clips I've heard it comes across as sounding pretty natural but heavier than the Micro Pog, and not as synthy as the OC-2. Is that about right?

About right. I personally feel like I can get pretty close to the OC-2 tone with it. It sounds incredibly organic and natural with an great range of tonal capabilities. It's the best sounding analog octave pedal I've ever played...

Have you had any problems with tracking on the Octamizer? I ditched my OC-2 for the Octamizer, but I was having trouble getting it to track my higher output basses without dialing the volume way down.
I haven't. However, there have been some reported issues with higher-output basses on the higher strings (the G-string in particular.) Aguilar can mod the pedal to perform better with higher-output basses. Just contact them...Dave and the rest of the guys at Aguilar will take care of it.
I may get forced into buying one of those Octamizers. I love the Micro Pog for octave up, but not as crazy about it octave down. But I wanted something more natural than the OC-2 but not as expensive as the Bass Octave Deluxe. Octamizer might go on the Christmas list.
It's a really smooth, organic-sounding, octave. Mine was a little glitchy with tracking with my Tele-bass, but sounded fantastic with my jazz.
There's a space on my PT mini just waiting for it to return, so hopefully when I get it back all will be well.
