my Mini's close to completion, finally settled on this setup after going through several preamps and compressors. however, i'm trying to decide if i should sell my Linden as the SFT seems to be capable of whatever it does. having two Baxandall tone stacks seems kinda redundant. i'm gonna give it another chance when i go jamming again.

yah, I wanted the Linden and as well as the Xotic BB but no need now as I LOVE my Catalinbread SFT.

you could still fit another pedal it seems. but could you use another?

it's not about how many pedals i can squeeze on my Mini, it's about how many pedals i can afford.
Surely that's a minor detail

Price wise, the submarine is pretty reasonable actually (I'm sure some would use the word bargain ).haha not really, i'm far far away in Singapore, so i'll have to go through all the trouble and extra shipping costs to get one. had a bad experience with the local courier service too. (they almost lost my Lakland!)
also, i just got back from a jam. i realised that i was really able to nail the John Paul Jones tone thanks to the SFT, and that my Linden was now obsolete. i'll have to sell it so i can send my bass for a setup and shielding and a nice new set of nickel strings. i totally love my setup now, so i don't see any need for new pedals anytime soon.

yea i think the mini is good for users like you and me, when there's temporarilyno need for any other pedals. we're contented so far and rest our case.
but looks like you've found a good tone you're happy with. thumbs up for that!

aaaahhh good call there. i got one locally for the equivalent of 65USD.
i use it as a pre-gain boost to get some dirt out of the SFT, or i need more treble.
