Hi Fellow TB'ers!

For sale is my lovely Pedulla Buzz 4 string, fretless PJ bass. It is gorgeous and the pictures below don't do the color justice !

This is a through body neck, flamed maple center with an ebony lined fingerboard with the polyester lacquer. There is a flamed maple headstock with logo, Schaller black tuners. The electronics include Bartolini split P neck pickup and Jazz bridge pickup. The original preamp works perfectly. The controls are Volume , Blend , Bass and Treble cut and boost knobs, with a "buzz boost" midrange switch. There is a 9 volt battery for this active preamp. The Bartolini pickups in the PJ configuration give a great range of tones.... from a thumpy, upright for the P pickup, to a Egan/Jaco buzz for the J pickup.

If you know this bass then you know that Mike Pedulla retired and is no longer producing these fine instruments. This bass was purchased for a tour that was cancelled due to the length of the pandemic. It has sat in my house for the last year as a practice bass only. It is in very good condition with slight blemishes almost unrecognizable in the photos. I just had it professionally set up and checked out by Colfax guitars here in Denver. The coated fingerboard is in good shape and the bass has "Mwah" for days (see pictures below)

Comes with an original Pedulla truss rod tool (truss rod is fully functional) and ships with gigbag. It will be professionally packed and shipped. The bass serial number shows that it was produced in 2004.

I will sell this bass for $3,900 now only $3500 (incl. shipping for CONUS only) or best offer. Not looking to trade:)

Please keep and inquires to DM to keep the thread clean. Bass is in Denver, Colorado.

Thankyou for looking.

I have an MVP signed by Michael he was so proud of the build . I believe it was the first GREEN TO BLUE BURST which i think is the same color on yours . Last time i spoke to Christine at Pedulla , it wouldve cost like 12 g to make my bass at that time . With Michael retired , the prices on these have gone up a lot . Very nice bass , and if i had loot id pair it with my fretted MVP . Best of luck and if i come into a bunch of money ....................
