Oh yeah, I'm not saying it's innefective, I'm just being cynical about the companies' reasoning for agreeing.

Guess I'll have to start a separate one to have it brought back in India anyway

Throwback Pepsi. Sugar > HFCS.

Since it's passover season, you should be able to find Coke or Pepsi with sugar instead of HFCS - look out for yellow caps on the Coke and grey caps on the Pepsi with either a Hebrew symbol or "KP" on it. Failing that, find a Hispanic shop and buy some Mexican Coke.

HFCS isn't kosher, apparently - not surprised, nasty genetically modified crap that it is. North America is the only place in the world where you find it in any quantity - we took my brother-in-law to the UK a couple of years back, and he's a sugary soda fiend - after drinking Coke with actual sugar in it, he can't drink the HFCS version any more, he reckons there's an unpleasant aftertaste. All he drinks now is the Throwback versions of Pepsi and Mountain Dew.

I guess he's got a deal with Coca Cola that if he gets that many likes, they'll bring it back. Companies do stuff like this to show that they 'care' about their customers (yeah right)

People want a product.
Company wants to make money of a product.

Makes sense for them to only bring it out for a large enough market. Mutually benificial
