Perks of dating a painter

My girlfriend (cue the "musicians with girlfriends" jokes) recently started a new series of paintings and asked me if she could photograph my beloved Fender Precision as a reference for one of them. This is how it turned out:

Pretty awesome to have my most sentimentally-valued bass immortalized in a painting!

looking at it starting from bottom left..looks friggin real..once my eyes got up to the strings..then I started to piece it togeth.

She gets that a lot. Her photorealism work is unreal...er...wait...surreal...wait, that doesn't work either.
