well, I took a whole bunch of pictures, so I'll only put up a few once I upload them. Was anyone else there? I don't think this race will be around much longer, there weren't that many cars there, and it's really just a 10 hour parade for advertising... Don't get me wrong, I LOVE racing, it's just that there were very few teams compared to other years.

I watched the opening of it. Then I had to go run around with the female. Did the vettes stay in first in the gt1 class? Who won gt2? Did the diesel audi's ever get the right tire grip?

That Flying Lizard paint job just keeps getting better and better every time I see it. By the way, go see the lemans race in europe, it is much better. WAY more crazy drunk people to keep you occupied.
i didn't make it this year, though i love lemans-style racing and road atlanta is a great place to see it. i hope they can keep it going.

A close friend of mine works for a race team in Atlanta and they were there racing this weekend. I've been meaning to make it down there to visit and catch PLM, but haven't been able to yet. It's a damn shame GT racing like this isn't more popular here in the States, but instead it's freakin' NASCAR everywhere. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...... Anyway, thanks for posting the great pics! 
Karrot-x- Audi ended up winning LMP P1 class, Penske won LMP P2, Aston Martin ended up winning GT1 a lap up from Corvette, and Porsche won GT2 (yes!). I think that's all the classes.
all those pictures were taken somewhere around the back straight, except the first one, I can't remember where I took that one. It was probably around the esses, because those are quite possibly the greatest photo opportunities on earth. And I'd give almost anything to see the real Le Mans, but it's just not in my budget right now...
