Hey there!
After having a gig last week with my old Fender Bassman I decided to buy some new amp. But not only SOME amp, this amp has to be compact, light and universal for DB and E-Bass. I saw a new Phil Jones Bass Cub BG-100 (http://www.philjonespuresound.com/products/?id=120) and been very exited to check this thing out. Unfortunately here in Germany they'll get this model first in January, that's why I decided to ask you guys maybe one of you already tested this toy and can tell me his opinion about the sound etc.
And in general, can the small bass amp of such size and weight (13.2 lbs / 6 kg) provide real 100W and sound "bassy"? And maybe some of you can advice me some alternative amp... But really, it has to be compact and powerful. I don't have a car but still have to play gigs (primary jazz on the double bass & less on the e-bass).
Will appreciate your answers and tips.
Best regards from Germany,
Paul
