I played trhough one for just a minute at Gage's. Seemed alright, although my Ampeg and Walter Woods combined is lighter and better sounding, I think. The suitcase is surprisingly heavy for its size.
Haven't tried it with my upright yet (besides, I suck and it wouldn't be a worthy opinion, anyway), but it sounds great with my 6 string ABG and electrics.
The briefcase weighs 29 lbs without the battery. Not too bad. I think there is some serious baffling inside this teeny thing to make it sound like it does.
Certainly not a toy, but I am not surprised that a WW sounds better--after all, you could buy three, or four, of these PJBs for the price of one WW head!
