Double Bass Phil Jones Suitcase

what do you guys think of the Suitcase? I have ran across a used one and would like the opionions of those using this amp. I play bluegrass through a 40 Kay and a Clevenger EUB.

I like the thought of the 2 Channels using one for upright and the other for EUB.

Thanks in advance.

I should add the amp is not local so I can't play it in advance.

Although, I don't own one personally, I played through one at Webster Jazz Camp several years ago, It sounded very nice, really portable as well. Most of the DB players on TB use the Super Flight Case. But it's
more expensive. I own a Clevenger Keyhole Bass. Just my take.

Thank you, the keyhole is the bass I have as well. I appreciate your input.

I have a 50's Kay w/ realist copper, straight into the suitcase compact and I couldn't be happier. It's the best combo i've owned. We have a tasteful drummer plays mainly with brushes and rods, I set volume usually around 3 oclock. I get much more volume with the slab. I'll be adding a C4 cab for the noisier ruckus.

Thanks so much, my Kay has the same pickup. I appreciate your answer.
