These are just perfect!

It will be bulit, I promise you that, I just have to find someone who'll do the right specs, or I'll do it myself somehow, but it will be built!

Thanks for the work dude, unbeliavable!:hyper::hyper::hyper:

Working out final specs as we speak, and I'm e-mailing a luthier tomorrow, fyi.

Can't decide, active or passive......

And a cool thing would be a toggle for the active 9v or 18v! plus the Active/passive toggle
Naw, 18v only, I like headroom.
We are talking about the FenderBird right, if so Darks, Chi's, or PJ!!! Gibby tbird humbuckers have a sweet sound too!!!

Naw, P5, Shell Pink is what I'm thinking of now.

The Explorer/Fenderbird, I'm making myself, soon as my eBay trouble is in line. Oh, there's been a 'shop for that on another thread.

Well I would have it because sometimes I prefer the 9v sound over the 18v...

For pups I'd say lindy fralin p5 pups... maybe qp for the j pup

For me 18v alone is perfect, as treble boost on 9v gets noisy, IME.

I was thinking a Nordie P, as for the bridge, I don't know weather to stick with J, or make it a JJ.

No JJ, On a pbass I think it looks tacky... I know both of us have a bass like that but... IMO

Stick with J unless tou are gunna go Elite II or MM humbucker

Meh, I have a P/MM already, and a P/J, and a P/JJ, I'm more worried about tone than looks anyway.

I could make it a P/Soapbar, like a Nordie Dual Coil.

Metallicafan18, Here's your SC explorer you asked for. I did a couple extra for fun too. Let me know if they're right.

Hey thndrstk6, could you do a PrecisionBacker for me?

  • White P-bass body
  • Rosewood fretboard
  • Fender shaped head
  • Standard P-bass bridge
  • Rickenbacker bridge pickup, 1/8th of the scale length from the bridge
  • Black pickguard, with the concave part of the controls "curve" filled in

And maybe an alternate with an ashtray over the bride. :hiding:

Basically this, but with color changes and a P-bass bridge:

(My awesome photoshop skills. :hmm:)

It would be really neat to see, and I'd greatly appreciate it. :D
