I'm gravitating toward pitching my mac to go back to pc-based recording but I like the ease of plugging a midi controller into Garage Band for drums and piano sounds. I've used Cakewalk HS a lot but I don't know how I would retain the ability to use keyboard. Are there any good soft synth programs that would work easily with a midi controller and Cakewalk?
