Piccolo strings for a 34"?

Hi, im looking for some sets of piccolo bass strings for a 34"scale?
Ive only found these so far:

Would they fit a 34"?

There have been a few "alternative string" threads recently, and I might sound like a bit of a shill for being consistent on this, but Zon makes a good string and sells pretty much every string in singles, plus has piccolo sets available as standard. I had a Zon Piccolo set on my old 4-string fretless jazz (Moses neck) and they fit fine. Unless the set says Short Scale or Extra Long Scale, they should be fine on a 34" bass.

Thanks. Its kinda hard to find piccolo strings in sweden. The only ones i found where the D'adario exl, which i suppose are to long, but ill keep looking.
Maybe normal bass strings but with very light gauge could be something to look for too?? Ive only been looking specifically for "piccolo bass strings"
What gauge would i need in that case?

The Zon Nickel Piccolo set is Gauges: .018 / .025 / .040 / .055, and the XL280's are .020 / .032 / .042 / .052, so those are the kind if gauges you would be looking for. You aren't going to find those in any kind of regular set. And it isn't just Sweden... Piccolo sets are hard to find everywhere. Most stores don't stock them and you have to get them by mail order/online.

Aaah, jeff schmidt! Man, you inspired me bigtime to make my fretless a piccolo! It was enough seeing a vid of you on youtube to make me wanna get some piccolo strings Didnt expect to see you here.

I may be late here, but Just Strings carries a few defferent sets of piccolo strings.

Shipping costs are out there though. Maybe you could go in on an order with some friends and share shipping.

I think they're all standard length, so you shouldn't have any issues with your 34" bass. Notice that all but one set (excluding the ABG's) have a plain steel G string. I've found the plain steel to have a slightly different timbre then its nickel/steel wound counterparts. And combined with callouses, an edgy or perhaps harsh bite at the front end of a note.

The LaBella M20's are stainless steel wound on all strings which i think will yield a more uniform tone. They are a heavier gauge though.

Fretlessrock, what's the build on the Zon piccolos? I didn't notice a breakdown by string.

The 018 or 020 are plain, unwound. The rest are regular roundwound nickels. I'd compare them to DR nickels, or maybe TI SuperAlloys in a normal string.
