Pick hitting pickups

Hey guys/gals...

On a couple of my basses, I have this issue of my pick making contact with my pickup while I'm playing. The pickup is at the right height (not too close to the strings). It doesn't bother me too much, just concerned that it will eventually start to damage the pickup. I can move my picking hand up a bit toward the neck to avoid this, but it's not where I "naturally" like to position my hand. Anyone else experience this? Thanks!

Now that my sixers have ramps I am forced to pick between the neck pickup and the end of the neck.
Because the pick now hits the ramps.Which is where I normally would pick.

Some times you just gotta adjust.
