I sold my 2 Ampeg SVT4s, good amps, but I wanted something a little more tighter and less old school. Scott, with Don's Music City in Greensboro hooked me up with a minty used WT800c for $800. I hooked these into my 2 GS112 cabinets and it really sounded good. I then hooked it up to my Berg HT210 and a GS112 and wow, this amp came alive! I had the EQ set flat then tweaked it just a little on the low mid. I am really digging this amp. Bridged at 4 ohms, it has plenty of power at 1100 watts, it actually sounds louder than what my SVT4 did bridged at 1200 watts.

Running it in the dual channel mode, I like being able to balance the sound between the Berg and Aggie, it really dialed in nicely. I may have to look at trying out a Eden 410 cab.

i didn't go quite that Large, but i also picked up a new Eden and got rid of an Ampeg, dumped my V4B for a tighter, more modern tone. Picked up the Nemesis NA 650...i I simply love what i've heard from this amp too, good luck and rock on with your Eden.

When you go looking at Eden cabs, there are two distinct styles of drivers you should try.

The Eden XLT cabinets are the classic Eden tone. Loud, growly, strong midrange, tons of definition. But the Eden XST cabinets are a very different beast. Deeply-tuned porting, tons of low end, less midrange projection, less growly, god-awful amounts of wattage handling.

I love the sound of both styles of cabs, for different reasons. So make sure you try them out. My rig is all XLT cabs, but after running a WT800A into a 410XST cab, I'd looooove to have one of those monsters handy for destroying small villages.

Oh, and try to find an Eden 212XLT. I'm tracking down my second 212 right now, (FREAKIN GAS!!!) and it has such a great deep tone but still the Eden growl. I can't wait to have four 12's ready for the devastating!

I bought one of the Eden WTX-260 amps for practice and liked it. It is 260 watts at 4 ohms and only weighs like 3.8 pounds. I have been using a GK210 which is 100 watts at 8 ohms only because it was really light and inexpensive.

My only Eden use before this was a friends older CX410 which I didn't care for much. I tried out the WTX-260 and loved the sound. So I called around and played a Metro at Harry's guitar shop in Raleigh and a WT550 at Sam Ash and really liked the sound but wanted more power. I talked to Scott at Don's Music City who is also a Roscoe player like me and he had the amp for about $200 cheaper than anywhere else.

I listed the WTX-260 for sale or trade here on TB, but I am thinking of keeping it now because the tone is so close to the WT800.

I actually tried the WTX-260 through one of these cabinets at Sam Ash and it sounded awesome. I didn't lift it up, what is the weight?

I had a WT800B for a little while and was mightily impressed with it. But I need it for a backup for my SVT, and it's size and weight defeated the purpose somewhat. I n've been using a WT-550 instead for a few years and it gives me most of the tone with a lot more portability.

if I needed an SS amp as my primary one I'd rock the 800 in a heartbeat, though.

Lighter than a 210XLT!

Okay maybe not technically. I'll call it, "easier to lift than a 210XLT." My 210XLT cab is a burden to carry because of the placement of the handles. It makes it want to tilt on you, making it precarious to get through doorways and keeping your knuckles. Whereas the handle placement of the 212XLT is so perfectly centered, I actually prefer carrying it despite its larger dimensions. DEFINITELY easier to carry up stairs as well.

My favorite Eden cab, hands down. Easy to move, sounds deeper and thicker than my 210XLT and just has some kind of mojo in it that kicks my ass! When I get the second cab, I'ma be happier than a pig in poo!!! I mean, seriously, I have a 410XST available for MAAAD low end rumble, I have a 210XST that I could repair by getting the speakers reconed and be back to a virtually brand-new cab. But I want me another 212XLT hands down.

And then I'll flop both cabs on their sides and stack em, and LOOK OUT!!!

Eden's freaking rule. I have an older Wt800A myself.

Careful with the EQ CrashClint! One or two clicks in any direction on the Eq knobs makes a HUGE change to the overall sound. The amps are really voiced great to run with a flat EQ. I find I only make a click or two change depending on a room. And that is just to fine-tune, the amp always sounds great just running flat.

Great choice over the Ampeg! You're really going to love the clean sounds of the Eden after playing in the mud of the 'peg.

Have you tried the XST line of speakers? I run mine into a D210XST + one or two D112XLTs and it sounds awesome. The 210XST is the lowest, fattest cab on the market for its size. It fully goes down to 30Hz and is deeper than most any 410 or 118.

When I was at Sam Ash, they had the 212 and the 112. They are supposed to be getting the 410 in soon. Right now I have been playing through a GS112T, GS112NT and a Berg HT210. All of these cabs have the mid range sound to them and the thing I liked about the Eden, it seemed to have a mid scoop. I actually have my Aggies for sale here on TB. Iam thinking of selling my Berg HT210 or trade for an Eden cabinet.

Anyone tried a WT800B or C into one of the new Bergantino AE410 neo cabs? I currently run a WT800B through an Epifani UL-410 (Series II) and it sounds very nice. At 57 lbs the cab is easy to move as well. The Berg is only about 62 lbs and is reported to have a little more tightness in the low end and a little more aggressive upper mids, giving a more of a rock voicing. This would go in the direction of music I play most of but wondered if any Eden users had a chance to put one of these new Bergs to the test?

I use to use a SVT CLASIC, THEN A SVT4PRO.. THEN I FOUND THE SOUND I WAS SEARCHING FOR!! A WT800, with a D210XLT8 and a D115xlt8. After I got my Eden endorsement I got a WT1205, this is hands sown the best amp out there!! I can blend my wet ch. and clean ch. to have a perfectly blended tone when using the psychedelic effects of gurggles of my Meatball. I want to get the D210XST8 and A D212XLT now. I'm debating about a 4 or 8 ohm D212XLT. I think I'll run the D210XLT8 in parralell with a D210xst8 on one side of the amp and a D212xlt4 ON THE OTHER SIDE!!!
Eden was definetly the right choice for me.
